Review of :Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic
Written By: "Toos"
Approximate size: 7 x 42 Cost when broken down per cigar is $9.00 ea.
The construction before I clipped it was perfect. I set the Palio on the table and inserted the pigtailed head and made a clean cut.

Okay, this is my first review...... pretty much ever. It's the first time I've sat down with a cigar and a piece of paper (this piece was nicely formatted and ready for use, thanks to VigorishSLC) and actually tried to get beyond, "it's real good, man, I like..."
I'll be honest up-front that I purposely tried to underscore this cigar for that very reason. Whatever the case, I bought this Maduro mid-December at the TinderBox in Tucson (thanks to a tip by BOTL Toos, thanks brotha!) and I believe it ran me just about $8.50/9.00. Itemized receipts as a standard for cigar shops would be sooooooo nice and soooooo baller.
Anyway, here's the review:

G.L.Pease "Odyssey"
I've been having the 8oz can since 2005. Upon opening I am greeted with the wonderful smell of sweet and smokey tobacco, There is an earthy smell as well, and Since Odyssey is a "balkan" Blend, No doubt the smokey smell comes from the the serious amount of latakia in this blend, and the sweet from the Red Virginia. This particular blend also has a fair amount of Oriental tobacco to give this Balkan a well rounded taste.
